Different model suffixes, regional cartridges, chips, firmware or subscription arrangements may require a further check. If your model is not listed, ask us to identify your toner.

Check whether the message names toner or the 19A drum

CF217A identifies 17A toner. Include the complete M102 or M130 model and the reference on the old cartridge, especially if the printer was bought outside the UK.

Ask us to check a suitable compatible or remanufactured option, or an original when required. Send any cartridge-recognition message so the proposed cartridge can be checked before ordering.

Replacing toner or another supply?

HP lists a separate 19A imaging drum, CF219A, for the M102w. Replacing 17A toner does not replace that drum; send any drum warning with the enquiry.

What to include for a clear quote.

• Full printer model and cartridge reference, if known.
• Colour and quantity, including individual replacements or a complete set.
• Delivery postcode, deadline and any recognition or firmware message.
