Start with the full model or TN reference
Brother printers often have model names beginning HL, DCP or MFC. These prefixes alone do not identify the correct toner: include the complete model name and suffix.
The cartridge label usually includes a TN reference. Copy it in full and tell us whether you need black, cyan, magenta, yellow or a set. We check your exact model rather than infer compatibility from a similar code.

Check whether the drum is separate
Many Brother laser printers use a toner cartridge and a separate drum unit. Replacing the toner will not resolve a request to replace a worn drum.
Send the exact display message if the printer is asking for a replacement. This helps distinguish low toner, drum life and cartridge recognition issues.
